The Chemistry department is a scientific department in the college of science at the University of Raparin. It was established in 2014. It’s located in Ranya Campus of the UoR. The undergraduate programs are based on the bologna process and studied in the English Language. Students have to study for at least (4) years in 8 semesters.
Mission
The department attempts to provide high quality of teaching and training through quality curriculum, teaching methods, and laboratories.Vision
Our department uses a high quality teaching system for our students. By teaching students theoretically and practically, we make sure that students become highly capable. We bring out the student’s hidden potentials to become active members of the society. To enable them to work independently and as a team. Objectives
The department aims to prepare the students to become experts in the branches of Chemistry like organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry, industrial chemistry, food analysis, natural products, and pharmacy, Polymer, petroleum and other advanced topics such as nanotechnology. Student centered approach is used, so that the students use their potential to become active members of the society. -
